"I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas: they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind."
- Emily Bronte
"No Spring, nor Summer beauty hath such grace, As I have seen in one Autumnal face."
- John Donne
"How beautifully the leaves grow old. How full of light and colour are their last days."
- John Burroughs
Both photos were taken at Clark Gardens Botanical Park.

- CrisKoonce: Wow. We got 4.5 inches of rain yesterday. No need to water the garden this morning.
- CrisKoonce: Making my 1st scratch carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Hope it is edible. I'll let Bill have the first piece. :)
- CrisKoonce: Evenings don't get much better than tonight. Calm cool night. Candle light dinner on the deck. Nice fire in the chiminea and good company.
- CrisKoonce: This is the first time our zucchini plant has seen rain. The rain must have scared it, 'cause it fell over.
- CrisKoonce: The power is out. Five electric trucks have gone by so far. My oh my.
