"No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever."
- Francois Mauriac
"Every path has its puddle."
- Old saying
"Let no one be deluded that a knowledge of the path can substitute for putting one foot in front of the other."
- Mary Caroline Richards
"Any path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or to others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you."
- Carlos Castaneda

September has been a month of change for many; full of additional challenges and decisions to make. My most sincere wish is that everyone find serenity in the path they choose. The peacock photo was taken at Clark Gardens Botanical Park. CrisPhoto.com has relaunched with a new look.. Want to see it? Here's the link: http://www.CrisPhoto.com.
Take care,

- CrisKoonce: Wow. We got 4.5 inches of rain yesterday. No need to water the garden this morning.
- CrisKoonce: Making my 1st scratch carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Hope it is edible. I'll let Bill have the first piece. :)
- CrisKoonce: Evenings don't get much better than tonight. Calm cool night. Candle light dinner on the deck. Nice fire in the chiminea and good company.
- CrisKoonce: This is the first time our zucchini plant has seen rain. The rain must have scared it, 'cause it fell over.
- CrisKoonce: The power is out. Five electric trucks have gone by so far. My oh my.
